NAJAVNI SINGL: ‘Came Back Haunted’ – dostupan odmah uz pre-order novog albuma na www.nin.com
NOVI ALBUM: ‘Hesitation Marks’ bit će objavljen 2. rujna, pod okriljem Polydor Records
Predvodnici ‘industrial rock’ scene Trent Reznor/NIN napokon su službeno najavili izlazak novog studijskog albuma ‘Hesitation Marks’, koji će u Europi/UK biti objavljen pod okriljem Polydor/Universal Music. Trent je priznao da je dugo morao tajiti kako band snima novi studijski album i da je ‘iskreno, jebeno dobar’. Trent je tijekom prošle godine album snimao uz pomoć Atticus Rossa i Alana Mouldera, a ujedno to je prvi novi materijal banda u proteklih pet godina!
Novi singl se 6. lipnja rekordnom brzinom proširio internetom i u samo nekoliko sati imao preko 3000 preslušavanja samo na SoundCloudu i zabilježio dvostruki Twitter top10 trend u svijetu!
“I’ve been less than honest about what I’ve really been up to lately,” said Trent Reznor. “For the last year I’ve been secretly working non-stop with Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder on a new, full-length Nine Inch Nails record, which I am happy to say is finished and frankly fucking great. This is the real impetus and motivation behind the decision to assemble a new band and tour again. My forays into film, HTDA and other projects really stimulated me creatively and I decided to focus that energy on taking Nine Inch Nails to a new place. Here we go!” Reznor explained his decision to abandon the DIY route and return to the majors: “To have a team of people that are better at that than I am, worldwide – that felt like it was worth slicing the pie up, monetarily,” he said.
Prema još službeno nepotvrđenim informacijama na albumu će se naći 14 pjesama, na deluxe izdanju 17 pjesama koje uključuju i 3 remixa, a bit će tu i knjiga sa 28 stranica.
NIN će ovog ljeta nastupiti na brojnim festivalima, a nova live postava koju čine Alessandro Cortini, Josh Eustis, Robin Finck, Trent Reznor i Ilan Rubin debitirati će na Fuji Rock Festivalu 26. srpnja. Bit će to prvi live nastup banda NIN u gotovo četiri godine!
